The mCHECK™ module performs two types of actions – identity verification and data checks.
The first is performed by means such as ID Document Verification (where the client’s identity is checked by algorithmically examining their driver’s license, passport or the like for signs of forgery and/or tampering), liveness check (where the client’s facial attributes are examined in real-time); or vis-à-vis external data-sources (corroborating their details re a third, independent source such as a governmental, telecommunications or commercial database).
The latter is performed vis-à-vis external data-sources, which contain and/or search data about political exposure, sanction lists, adverse media and more.
In case of incorporations, external data-sources provide a variety of additional information, such as the company’s validity, directors, shareholders, financials and more.
We dub all these checks “KYC/AML checks”. The mCHECK™ module performs them, and composes, on their basis, and on the basis of pre-configured scoring system and thresholds (which you can re-configure), a report. The report, as you will see further on in this manual, includes both a numeric score, and a RAG type indication.
In terms of process, the module’s process can be presented like this:
In terms of actions performed, the module performs the following actions:
