6. Jurisdictions
The jurisdiction in which a client resides in can be very important to a firm. For example, some firms may want to limit their dealings to residents of certain countries; others may choose to not accept clients from a select number of countries; and, in any case, firms tend to look at the place of residence of a client as a very important factor in their onboarding, especially for risk scoring.
The Platform is built to cater for the above, and includes, therefore, both a score for each country (or jurisdiction – the two terms are used interchangeably here); and an option to add restricted countries.
