7.4. Appropriateness Warning and High Risk Warnings Configuration

The final mPASS™ attributes you can configure is the appropriateness and high-risk warnings. The appropriateness warning is a warning presented to a client which fails the appropriateness test in regard to a specific instrument and/or service. The high-risk warning is a warning presented to a client whose specific attributes raise a concern that high-risk instruments are not appropriate for them.

The Platform allows you to enable these warnings, and customise their content. Here’s how you get to the relevant screen:

The following screen will appear:

The screen contains an “Enabled” check-box. If not checked, that means the warnings are disabled.

Below the said check-box, you will find text boxes in which you can customise the header and content of the messages to your clients, as per your policies, regulatory framework etc.

Simply type in the text you require, press “Save”, and the changes will take effect.
