9.3. How to Configure the Delivery Channel Risk Category

In order to configure the Delivery Channel parameter of the risk matrix, simply press on the “Delivery Channel” tab. A screen similar to that below will appear: 

Here, you can change the score given to different types of ways you’ve made contact the client, when the guiding logic is, that a client you know in advance and/or have met face to face, is easier to assess their intentions, seriousness etc., and therefore their inherent level of risk is low. On the other hand, a client which you know in less certain circumstances like through an online connection only, carry with them more potential for using your organisation for performing financial crimes or other illicit purposes.
