12.1. What is an Audit Log

An audit log is, as the name suggests, a record of the activities performed in the Platform, which is usually kept for purposes of later review – be it by an internal auditor, an external auditor, a regulator, or for any other purpose.

In the context of financial institutions, of course, a full and correct audit log is important for compliance with various rules and regulations.
