11.3. Welcome Page

You can also determine what will be the assessment’s “Welcome Page”, meaning, the first page of the assessment.

You can do this by the “Welcome Page” tab in the main menu, under “Miscellaneous”.

You can customise three elements:

  • Whether or not to send the email (“Enabled” check box);

  • the body of the message (“Message Text”); and

  • the text that will appear on the confirmation button (“Confirm Button Text”).

 Note, that as this is the first page your client will see, it will be good to consider using it in order to make sure you:

  •  Inform the client of the things you are required to inform them about (like, for example, what data will be collected, for what purposes, what will be done with it, their rights in regard to that data etc.).

  • Obtain the necessary consents and affirmations (like, for example, their consent to gather the data, their affirmation that they will provide only data which is true, etc.) – this can be done in the Confirm Button Text such as “I acknowledge and agree”

  • Comply with any other regulation that applies to you, like AML legislation.

 You can of course also include in the text a link to your Terms and Conditions, and write that by clicking the below and/or continuing to the next screen, they acknowledge they have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, or a sentence of this kind, as per above.

 As Muinmos’ clients are located all around the world and are subject to many different regulatory regimes, and differ in industries and policies, we cannot, of course, provide a “default” version of such text, only a general layout of it. Therefore we see it fit to draw your attention to the general lay-out such a page should have.

 We recommend you consult the relevant compliance and / or legal functions in your company in this matter.
